Understand lifecycle-status and custom CRM-tag changes in lead.tag.updated.
lead.tag.updated.
The standard event envelope contains these lead data fields:

leadId, campaignId, linkedinUrl | Lead and campaign identity |
status, previousStatus | Current and previous lifecycle status; previous can be null on the first transition |
customLeadStatus, previousCustomLeadStatus | Current and previous CRM tag; nullable until assigned |
previousTag, newTag | Legacy compatibility fields mirroring the status or CRM-tag axis that changed |
newTag as the same kind of state. Receiving a sequence status in a webhook does not mean it is settable through Update Lead Status.
Verify the signature and deduplicate eventId before processing.
